I adore invertebrates (insects, arachnids and other spineless creatures) and have never understood why people don't share my passion.

With over 1.5 million named species to play with, I never find myself struggling to find a new model. Macro photography can be such a wonderful communication tool. It brings an unknown and unseen world into a perspective that people can understand. Have you ever looked at a spider's face or watched a column of foraging ants through a magnifying glass. If not, you really should, it's an eye opener that's for sure.
